Job description
Château d'Audrieu is looking for a customer-focused Chef de Partie to join our team on April 13, 2026. You will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the following tasks:
- Implementing all procedures necessary for the smooth running of the kitchen and service;
- Working with your team to find solutions to improve productivity and results;
- Ensuring the consistent quality of the products made in your section;
- Reporting product non-compliance to your managers;
- Produce pastry preparations and recipes according to technical specifications;
- Ensure the quality of dishes and presentation before serving;
- Be creative and proactive in developing the dessert menu;
- Contribute to team cohesion;
- Monitor the application of HACCP procedures;
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and your section, and the condition of the equipment and materials used.
- Supervise the work of the sous chefs and commis chefs in your section, as necessary.
- Manage and resolve any unexpected issues that may arise during service quickly and efficiently.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality or customer service, preferably in a high-end hotel.
Passionate about haute cuisine, demanding of yourself, curious, and creative.
Solid mastery of culinary basics, precision, sense of aesthetics, and taste.
Ability to supervise, communicate, and work as part of a team.
Fluency in French and English.
Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
