Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- To deputise in the Sous Chef's absense.
- To ensure that all Senior Chef De Parties and Chef De Parties are familiar with the day's requirments.
- To ensure that the necessary stocks are on hand at the right quality and quantity.
- To ensure that all communications between all levels of kitchen structure are operating smoothly.
- To do necessary requisitions.
- To ensure that each cook receives the correct order for the appropriate tables.
- To ensure that subordinate staff perform their duties correctly.
- To attend seminars and training courses as and when directed.
- To take care of kitchen room lights, cleaning and organisising work area.
- To ensure that fair discipline is maintained.
- To ensure that all statutory, as well as company ,hygiene regulations are being strictly adhered to.
- To ensure that all maintenance problems are reported and followed up upon.
- Implement work schedules as instructed.
- To ensure that each dish leaving the kitchen is checked for quality, quantity, presentation and correct tempreture.
- To ensure that all guidlines from the Executive Head Chef/ Sous Chef are followed.
- Take care of Stock Takes when required.
- To check H.A.C.C.P (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points).

- FOOD HYGIENE CERTIFICATE (WARRANT)
