Your responsibilities

  • Key responsible for implementation of current and future European and country specific sustainability legislation into biomass sourcing and trading projects and portfolios with a  commercial view
  • Responsible for implementing and monitoring regulation regarding biomass sustainability under European and country specific laws (such as UK, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden)
  • Participate in project teams and provide strategic and commercial support on biomass sustainability requirements in Unipers’ projects
  • Working closely together with domestic and European internal and external legislation and regulation experts and consultants to maintain up to date guidelines for Uniper biomass related projects as well as for biomass Sourcing and trading activities
  • Be responsible for providing on a regular basis information sessions and meeting as well as reports on latest status and expected changes of legislation and regulation
  • Working together with the traders, deal execution and middle office peers to manage certification and supply chain requirements
  • Represent Uniper in (inter)national biomass forums and business events

 

Exigences professionnelles

Your profile

  • Has over 5 years experience with, and knowledge of, regulations, sustainable aspects on a central and or local level
  • Has extensive experience with certification systems and processes like FSC, SBP, PEFC etc.
  • Has an existing network of RA knowledge consultant and lobbying organizations
  • Outstanding relationship management skills as well Influencing skills and the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships to engage with Uniper and third party teams
  • Planning and organising skills including effective prioritising, resource management with a long term strategic focus
