Description de l’offre d’emploi
- Responsible for the overall BIM coordination of assigned project(s) with a requirement to create 3D models using BIM authoring tools.
- Responsible for coordination and monitoring of 3D model production during the corresponding project stages.
- Coordination of services using the full Autodesk Suite.
- Clash management on all systems (clash detection, report, monitor, etc.)
- Responsible for delivering models accordingly to the schedule defined for the project.
- Coordination of work information workflows.
- Coach and mentor of BIM Technicians - monitoring workload and tasks.
- Set up the BIM project environment.
- Creation, development, maintenance and review of BIM Documents (such as BIM Execution Plans, etc.) and protocols.
- The BIM Coordinator will report to the BIM Manager of PM’s Belgium BIM Department and the BIM Lead of the assigned project(s).
Production

- Manage, control and assure on-time delivery of drawings and models.
- Development of Discipline Models and reports in line with company and client requirements.
- Assist and manage the transition of historic files from 2D to 3D models.
- Assist in the migration of files to BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud Design/Documents.
- Assistance in the overall development of the BIM protocols and systems. This includes marketing BIM capability as necessary to external clients/consultants. Championing the benefits of BIM internally to existing employees.
Quality assurance

- Comply with both in-house and client Design Procedures.
- Perform with respect to all client security protocols.
- Audit of submitted files from the own team and/or other vendors/owners.
- Ensure compliance and adherence to Company EHS, QA/QC policies and systems.
Communication
-
- Lead or actively contribute to BIM Coordination Meetings between project stakeholders when needed.
- Liaise with client representatives, project manager, site supervisors, the design team and/or own team to bring clarity to the scope of deliverables.
Exigences professionnelles
- Bachelor's degree in a subject related to the construction industry.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the engineering/construction industry of medium to large capital projects.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience within the BIM industry.
- Experience in a construction-based role is preferably.
- Good knowledge of English and Dutch.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Technical skills:
- Thorough understanding of computer systems and applications.
- Excellent understanding of the modeling process.
- Revit.
- Navisworks.
- AutoCAD.
- Any other Autodesk software is preferably.
- Programming skills will be preferable.
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud Design and Docs.
- BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud additional modules and products (ideally).
- Self-motivated. Ability to work on own initiative - can always find the next task rather than waiting to be assigned one.
- Strong work ethic.
- Good organizational and leadership skills.
- Flexible and willing to travel to meet project requirements.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written and ability to work within a multi-discipline team environment.
- Ability to produce accurate work to strict project deadlines.
- Problem solving and resolution of coordination and design roadblocks.
- Detailed oriented.
