We are now strengthening our team and looking for several
Automation Engineers, ALD Equipment
In this position you will be designing the software and automation for Beneq ALD equipment. Alongside with project deliveries, your work will support continuous development and maintenance of the current automation systems.
A solid work experience in similar positions is a necessity in order to succeed in the position. The responsibilities can be modified to an extent according to your own skills and interests.
The position is located in Espoo, Finland. Our recently renovated office is in Olarinluoma - a short walk from the Niittykumpu metro station.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing automation software and automation instrumentation
- Commissioning the equipment deliveries alongside with process engineers
- Providing technical support for customers, sales and manufacturing
- Creating material for maintenance instructions and manuals
- Understanding semiconductor industry demands and SEMI-standards
To succeed in this position, you have:
- Strong Engineering background with 5+ years of experience, typically BSc or MSc degree in automation engineering
- Solid problem-solving skills, Self-guided and customer-oriented mindset with can-do attitude
- Experience with automation instrumentation and electrical drawings
- Preferably knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 PLC software, or Codesys environments and experience with IEC 61131-3 structured text. But other PLC software knowledge also regarded relevant.
- Interest or knowledge of HTML5+JS based HMI design tools
- Solid verbal and written English
- Readiness to travel and meet our customers
We appreciate if you have some knowledge in:
- Microsoft SQL Server and SQL programming
- Computer languages (e.g. C#, Visual C++,)
- Software Technologies ( e.g. OOP, ADO, OLE DB, ODBC,).
- Fieldbus technologies (e.g. EtherCat, Profinet, DeviceNet, OPC UA, Modbus, FL-net)
- Process automation, PI-drawings and 2D CAD-programs
