ARLA - Experienced Project Manager to Procurement

“As Project Manager you will play an essential role in creating the future of Procurement. You will take lead to define, execute and lead strategic projects related to the Procurement organization – either within Procurement or where Procurement is an essential part of projects linked to other business areas” says Ninna Normand Helles, Procurement Director.
About the job
You will be part of the Source2Pay organization within Procurement, reporting directly to the Director of Source2Pay. This is a team of 40 colleagues working with optimization of both operational and strategic procurement processes and tools, with half of the team based in Poland and half of the team is based on Denmark.
Common for both types of projects is that you will take accountability to lead projects from scoping to execution and implementation and to ensuring that objectives are met according.
You will actively take part in project deliveries yourself and ensure relevant involvement of stakeholders and peers. To achieve this, you will:
- Create and execute project implementation plans and processes, ensuring optimal cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management.
- Ensure coordination and involvement of relevant stakeholders to ensure project progress and commitment.
- Actively engage in successful and timely project execution and deployment.
- Identify ways to overcome constraints and challenges with respect of the business context you are in and contribute to optimization of business processes and procedures.
- Identify optimization opportunities and actively take part in development and execution of Procurement business process.
- Maintain close corporation with the rest of the Source2Pay team and engage in development as well as execution of Business plan activities.

Being good at following up on processes, you never leave a project behind, and you are always able to adjust your processes or priorities when changes and obstacles appear. You are curious by nature and enjoy putting your skills to the test every day, exploring the frontier of your field and inventing new standards when you see the opportunity.
You also possess strong analytical skills and the capability of running multiple projects simultaneously. Furthermore, you:
- Hold a Master degree in business administration, supply chain management or equivalent.
- Have at least 3-5 year’s experience as a project manager within an international organization.
- Have experience within Procurement and are familiar with Procurement processes and tools.
- Have an analytical mindset, you challenge status quo and take accountability to execute.
- Are fluent in English and able to communicate clearly with various stakeholders across a global set-up.
