Application Architect / Designer

Job Description

Our client, European Commission, is seeking for an Application Architect / Designer to join a variety of projects.

We are looking for candidates motivated for long term projects, who will be part of a multicultural team.

Profile:

Degree or Master Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or similar;

Minimum 6 years of IT professional experience;

Minimum 2 years’ experience in architecture and design of information systems;

Minimum 2 years’ experience in development of information systems;

Minimum 2 years’ experience with UML or Case tools;

At least 1 year professional experience in Service Bus Architecture;

At least 1 year professional experience with relational databases;

At least 1 year professional experience in web technologies;

Al least 1 year proven academic knowledge or professional experience in the following areas or technologies:

SOA

Application design

Business process modelling tools

OO programming languages

Enterprise Architectures

Relational DBMS

Business process analysis

Knowledge of interoperability technology;

Optional specific expertise in the following technologies: JEE, we 2.0, specific design or architecture tool;

Strong English communication skills;

Availability to live and work in Brussels or Luxembourg.
