Main Duties:
- Clean and service all rooms according to their status of departure, occupied or vacant to company standard.
- To respect at all times guests property and privacy, and to handle all guests requests promptly and courteously.
- Report stains and damage to any of the hotel property.
- To clean and restock the trolley before going off duty.
- To maintain & clean corridor section before going off duty.
- To be responsible for pass keys.
- Collect section list each morning and return it before going off duty.
- Report any rooms which:
- Do not require servicing.
- Display a "Do Not Disturb" sign.
- Report:
- Malfunctioning equipment.
- Lost property.
- Suspicious incidents or persons.
- Personal gifts from guests.
- Health & Safety hazards.
- To ensure guests and hotel laundry and dry cleaning is dealt with in accordance with the agreed hotel standard.
- To minimize wastage of materials and energy through careful work practices.
- To adhere to the hotel policy of recycling.
- Complete appropriate tasks from the weekly cleaning/spring cleaning schedule.
- To complete cleaning tasks in the hotel public areas as directed.
- To deal with guest lost property according to the Hotel standard, to record and store this as hotel property, until it is claimed by its owner.
- Demonstrate Service Excellence through the following ways:
- Always present yourself at work on time in full clean uniform & name badge.
- Attend training & department meetings as scheduled.
- Participate in improving the guest service journey.
- Welcome guest feedback, share it with your team & aim to recover good service at every opportunity.
- Smile & greet your guests & colleagues before they greet you.
