Finland Works online event is back again!
We are inviting employers and active jobseekers to join our recruitment event on February 16th 2022 between 11:00 am - 3 pm (CET).

Employer from Finland, this event offers an ideal opportunity to promote your recruitment needs throughout Europe. The event will be widely advertised in Europe through targeted social media campaigns, social media platforms and online. Recruitment services such as automatic screening/matching/chat and interview scheduling will be available.
Jobseeker, register online, browse through registered employers and show them your interest. Interviews are scheduled by the employers. The automatic screening and matching will help you to find the best vacancies for you. During the day you can chat with employers, exhibitors and EURES Advisers.
This event is part of European Job Days - a series of events organised throughout Europe. Useful information on living and working in Finland, dealing with issues such as taxes, social security etc. will be available for you.
You will also benefit from a programme of thematic info sessions covering different topics within various industries, job search and mobility. The agenda will be available closer to the event.

Upload and improve your CV:
- Pay attention to your language, technical or soft skills, as well as education fields.

Please make sure you have the matching profile for the job you are applying for!
If your profile does not match the job requirements, exhibitor might not review your application.
Job opportunities increase, as the date of the event approaches, so browse through the various job options, and apply as soon as possible for those matching your skills and expectations.
Exhibitors may interview you on the day and some of them will attend the event and be available to answer additional questions that you may have.
In case you are pre-selected, you will get a notification by the employer(s) on possible timeslots for the interview, to which you should answer as quickly as possible.
Prepare for interviews:
In order to be better prepared, you should research background information on the participating companies, their main projects and recruitment needs. Select the ones you want to approach and consider the questions you may want to ask. Anticipate the questions the employer / recruiter may present you with.
Interviews and recruitments during Covid-19
Interviews and testing are being held remotely using various online tools. The employers will select a method appropriate to the current situation.
Companies are working proactively on finding the right candidates, but you should be aware that moving to Finland will depend on the national guidelines being followed in the countries concerned.
Companies participating in the event are required to:
- Ensure compliance with the latest national legislation relating to Covid 19
- Outline the conditions under which workers from other countries will be accepted whatever Covid 19 guidelines are in force. This is regarding matters such as quarantine or the need for a health certificate etc. You have to clarify this before leaving your home country.
Financial support for citizens from an EU country, Norway or Iceland
If, after the event, you are invited for an onsite interview by one or more of the employers, you may be entitled to financial support to cover travel expenses through the Targeted Mobility Scheme /Your First EURES Job (YFEJ).
Important: you will need to apply for these supports well before the interview date!

Visitors can choose to continuously apply for the vacancies that are registered on the event page. They can also choose to only participate in the program that is broadcast during the event day and then apply for the vacancies that have been published.
If your organization consists of several departments that want to participate in our job fair, we recommend that each department registers its own account. This way, each department is exposed separately, and it becomes easier to handle applications. In addition, each department receives interview planning tools and chat channels that are their own.
Register vacancies:
To achieve a good result with your recruitment, we recommend that the ads are published as soon as possible and are in English. In the advertisement, you have the opportunity to refer applicants to your own career page but note that our platform is built on the basis that applicants must apply for the services through the platform, which means that the vast majority do so. Book online interviews:
You can book and hold interviews between 16th and 18th February from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CET (10-19 Finnish time) with candidates who have applied for vacancies. The interview tool is integrated into the platform. You do this by booking 30-minute interviews (so-called "slots"). You can access it from your "Dashboard".
Chat with candidates during the event day:
It is possible to chat with jobseekers on the event day using the event platform.
If you are unable to chat the entire day, then add in your company presentation the time you are available for chats during the event day.
Record a short film in English
We recommend that you record a promotional film where you inform about your organization, your vacancies and how candidates can contact you. We broadcast the film during the event day. In this way, you reach everyone who participates, even those who may have missed your published vacancies.
NOTE! The film shouldn’t be longer than 5 minutes and if your movie is in your native language, it needs to be subtitled in English.
You will receive a broadcast program about a week before the event day, then you know when your film is broadcasted and can take the opportunity to join the general chat in the broadcast window to promote your business.
