About INL
INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory is a research institute located in Braga (North of Portugal) founded by the governments of Portugal and Spain, under an international legal framework to perform interdisciplinary research and deploy and articulate nanotechnology for the benefit of society.
INL aims to become the worldwide hub for nanotechnology addressing society’s grand challenges.
Facilities
Our infrastructure provides a high-tech research environment for INL staff and users. It extends over an area of 47,000 m2, with 26,000 m2 of buildings. This includes 7,500 m2 of laboratory space, with high-accuracy laboratories, a cleanroom with an area of 1,200 m2, an auditorium and other public areas over 4,800 m2.
Apart from the main building we also have social facilities which include a Guest House, Nursery and a room for Functional and Pilates classes.
