About the organisation
The Nautic Almata belongs to a family Enterprise since its foundation in 1973. With the spirit of love for the place and the respect for the nature space it hosts it, the essence of the camping is to care for the legacy of camping life and make everyone who inhabits it feel like part of a big family. The boutique philosophy is in the details, in being a place with personality, in the care of the spaces and the people who works in the company, so that campers feel pampered.
The location of Nautic Almata, in the heart of the natural protected environment Aiguamolls de l’Empordà, sets it apart from the rest. From the road that connects Sant Pere Pescador with Castelló d’Empuries, until reaching the entrance of the camping, a path of two kilometers for viewing ducks, storks, flamingos, horses and countless species of birds, borders the park. Once in the camping, the green of nature and the canals that flows into the river are the protagonists. It is a geographically isolated place, limited to the north by the natural park and to the south by the mouth of the Fluvià. A privileged location that allows navigation – in small boats - from the river to the sea, an ideal destination for practicing water sports, observing native fauna and flora, and excursions by bike or on foot. It has direct access to a long beach of fine sand.
