Windows Automation Engineer

Cegeka is in full growth! As a Windows Automation Engineer you will start to strengthen our Operations team. This job is completely focused on managing all infrastructure components and applications we use in this domain (e.g. Windows and Jenkins. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Operations Team. This multi-disciplinary team manages our infrastructure and systems, both in our private and public cloud. It is a challenging position where you will have the opportunity to grow and learn.

• Daily management of our infrastructure
• Implementing updates, customizations and necessary changes
• Testing, implementing and documenting new applications, services and processes
• Collaborating with developers and Operations Team colleagues.
• We Expect you to have a healthy interest in new technologies. Together with your colleagues you will build the foundation that forms the basis of the Cegeka Delinea PAM environment.
• Focus is on the DevOps part and the management of a Windows Server environment.
• You will design, implement and manage tools and systems for automation of development, implementation and management processes. This means setting up Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, using tools such as Jenkins, Gitlab and various REST APIs.
• Security and compliance, you will ensure that systems meet security and compliance guidelines.

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree or demonstrated experience as an Automation Engineer.
• Windows system administration is in your fingers.
• You have hands-on experience with PAM platforms or are willing to delve into them
• DevOps ideology and tooling are familiar.
• A background as a developer or experience working with developers is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile and Kanban methodologies come in handy.
• You are a team player with good communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of security principles and experience implementing security measures.
• Knowledge of Python (Django, Flask...), is a plus.
• Finally, you are willing to participate in the 24/7 standby arrangement (rotational).
