MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

Contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the Service by in enhancing the drink experience of guests. 

TASK, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes or customer preferences, ensuring consistency and quality in every drink.

Prepare and restock garnishes for drinks, including cutting fruits and assembling other garnish ingredients.

Keep track of all bar inventory, including liquors, wines, beers, and other supplies. Reorder stock as necessary to ensure the bar is well-supplied at all times.

Provide excellent service to guests by greeting them warmly, taking orders efficiently, and ensuring they have a satisfying bar experience. Handle customer complaints and queries promptly and professionally.

Check and maintain bar equipment, such as ice machines, glass washers, and refrigeration units, to ensure they are functioning properly.

Operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, take payments for drinks and food, and make change as necessary.

OTHER TASKS

Continuously learn about new drink trends, techniques, and products in the industry to enhance the bar's offerings and provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.

Participate in and sometimes organize events or promotions to attract more customers to the bar, such as happy hours, live music nights, or themed parties.

Check identification to verify age requirements for the purchase of alcohol. Understand and enforce local liquor laws to prevent legal issues related to underage or excessive drinking.
