Do you have experience with translating customer needs into software solutions? Then you might be our new Embedded Software Engineer for our department in Ballerup.

As an Embedded Software Engineer at DIS, you will experience an independent job and a varied everyday work life with professional challenges matching your areas of expertise. You will be responsible for architecture, design, implementation, test, debugging, optimization, validation, documentation and project implementation in close dialogue with customers.

You work project-oriented with technical solutions and development

We imagine that you hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in software or computer science. We would like for you to have 3-5 years of documented experience with development of embedded software.

It is important that you thrive in a dynamic and customer-oriented environment and are a good communicator when in dialogue with customers and colleagues in both Danish and English. As a person, you are proactive and can work independently. You will be responsible for your own projects and thereby handle customer interactions from previous specification phases to development phases and final reporting and delivery. You are passionate about your profession, keep up to date with the newest knowledge and take pride in high quality and professionalism. At the same time, you understand the importance of knowledge sharing with colleagues when solving tasks.

We focus on solutions for the following industries:

  • Audio
  • Medical/Life Science
  • Robotics
  • GreenTech

We imagine that you are experienced with and have competencies within one or more of the following areas:

  • C/C++ and maybe C# and Python
  • Development for different CPU’s and MCU’s
  • Signal processing/DSP
  • Wireless technologies (such as Bluetooth/BLE, WiFi, NFC or DECT)
  • Data collection and processing, including solutions with different sensor technologies
  • One or more real-time operating systems, such as Linux/Embedded Linux, FreeRTOS or VxWorks
