Mechanical engineer
Description
• You prepare equipment specifications for pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, etc.
• You recalculate pressure-retaining equipment according to construction codes such as AD2000 and ASME VIII.
• As an Equipment Engineer, you are familiar with the standards related to the above-mentioned activities.
• You are knowledgeable about applicable directives such as PED, ATEX, and the Machinery Directive.
• Your responsibilities also include inspections and monitoring the fabrication of equipment
• Evaluating M.O.C.
• Assistance of the M&P design team
• Maintain a good business relationship with our Manufacturers
• Performing and Evaluating calculations per ASME / EN / API
• Supervision of Engineering Contractors
Profile
• You hold a degree in Industrial Engineering (Bsc or Msc in Mechanical engineering.
• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably with chemical installations in an engineering environment.
• You show initiative and a sense of responsibility.
• You are dynamic, precise, and have a keen eye for detail.
• As you frequently interact with clients, you possess strong communication skills.
• Required language skills: Dutch and English; German and/or French are an asset.
Relocations package:
As soon as we know that a highly skilled migrant will be joining us, Relocations schedules a Teams meeting. During this call, we talk through your preferences for housing, transport, and other practical matters. We’ll also explain the process, the required documents, and the allowances provided by Nouvall. Housing From the first meeting onwards, we help you step by step to find suitable housing. We’ll try to schedule an appointment with the local municipality as soon as possible so you can register and get your BSN (social security number).
We’ll also help you with practical matters such as opening a bank account, applying for health insurance, and arranging contracts for your utilities. To help you settle in, we’ll arrange Dutch language lessons so you can start learning the basics quickly.
