Finance, Procurement and Accounting IT (FPAIT) is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Data Warehouse Developer . This individual will work  design and development tracks of an enterprise wide MDC (Master Data Central) warehouse.  The role will utilize agile development practices to manage work in a geographically distributed team.

 

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • Design, develop and testing of software solutions
  • Technical documentation
  • Partnering with Architecture, Analysis and QA teams
  • Troubleshooting and investigation
  • Data research
  • Facilitate code reviews
  • Performance tuning
  • Coordination of production installation of software

 

Education and Experience

 

  • BS/BAI in a technology/engineering related discipline.
  • 3+ years of datawarehouse development experience: hands-on coding & troubleshooting

 

Skills and Knowledge

 

  • Hands on Java, Web Services development experience Preferrable
  • Experience with formal software development methodologies, preferably Agile
  • Oracle PL/SQL (required)
  • Data Modeling, Understanding of relational database concepts (required)
  • Unix/KSH (required)
  • Informatica (recommended)
  • Control-M Batch Scheduler (recommended)
  • Nice to have – SOA
  • Problem solver
  • Team player, strong collaboration skills
