Swedish employers are experiencing a huge demand of skilled talents.This year we are happy to present a new kind of event and a new experience, never seen before. We will offer you Pre-sessions to prepare you to get the best out of Swedish Day. On the event day you can attend Sessions and be able to meet the employers live, listen to their presentations and ask your questions.

Pre-sessions

We want to help you find the right employer and the right job offer in Sweden. Therefor we will offer you registered as Jobseeker 1-2 Pre-sessions each week starting from 2nd of October to 24th of October.

In these Pre-sessions we will tell you more about participating employers and their job-offers. We will also provide you with useful information about living and working conditions in Sweden.

We strongly recommend you too participate in these Pre-sessions if you want to improve your chances to the job you want in Sweden.

Swedish Day 2022, 27th of October 13.00-16.30 CET

During the event-day we will offer you Sessions with participating employers. At the Sessions you will be able to meet and listen to what the employer has to offer.

We will also broadcast live telling you more about living and working conditions in Sweden and provide you with answers to your questions.

Swedish Day är ett rekryteringsevent online där du som arbetsgivare erbjuds att, helt kostnadsfritt, möta och rekrytera kvalificerade kandidater från samtliga EU/EES länder.

Eventet anordnas av Eures Sweden Arbetsförmedlingen på online-plattformen European Online Job Days. 

Swedish Day riktas mot bristyrkesbranscher såsom hälso- och sjukvård, djursjukvård, IT, teknik och industri, gruvnäring, pedagogik och besöksnäring. 

I vårt paket ingår följande:

• En digital monter: på eventportalen där du laddar upp en företagspresentation, lediga tjänster och presentationsfilm. Du når ett stort utbud av kandidater från EU/EES och Schweiz.
• Annonsering på event-portalen: När du lagt in er annons kommer den bli synlig för kandidater som söker jobb i Sverige.
• Företagspresentation: 2X15 min live sessions i enskilda digitala rum till ett antal kandidater där du informerar om er verksamhet och lediga tjänster samt tar emot och svarar på frågor.
• Intervjua kandidater: Kandidater som sökt en ledig tjänst hos er kan du välja att intervjua direkt under eventdagen.

Registrera din medverkan senast 2 oktober

Registrera nytt konto:

Om din organisation består av flera avdelningar som önskar delta i eventet rekommenderar vi att varje avdelning registrerar var sitt konto. På så sätt exponeras varje avdelning för sig och det blir lättare för dig att hantera ansökningarna. Dessutom får varje avdelning planeringsverktyg för intervjuer som är deras egna.

Annonsering

För att du ska få bästa möjliga genomslag i marknadsföringen av era lediga tjänster är det viktigt att annonsera dessa på eventsidan så snart som möjligt!   

Matchningen av kandidater sker utifrån annonserna och för ett lyckat resultat är det viktigt att vara tydlig i beskrivningen av tjänstens innehåll och krav på kvalifikationer. Kom ihåg att skriva annonstexten på engelska. Erbjuder ni flera tjänster inom olika yrkeskategorier går det bra att registrera en samlingsannons.

I annonseringen har du möjlighet att hänvisa sökande även till företagets egna karriärsidor. Observera dock att event-plattformen är uppbyggd för att sökande ska söka tjänsterna genom plattformen. Därför är det viktigt att du fortlöpande tittar igenom era annonser för att fånga upp kandidaterna. 

Företagspresentation

Under eventdagen den 27 oktober kommer du vid två tillfällen om 15 min träffa kandidater i grupp i ett enskilt digitalt rum där du informerar om er verksamhet och era lediga tjänster samt tar emot och svarar på frågor.

Filmpresentation 

Vi rekommenderar att ditt företag spelar in en film där ni informerar om företaget, vilka lediga tjänster ni erbjuder och hur kandidater kan kontakta er. Filmen sänder vi under eventdagen. På så sätt når ni alla kandidater som deltar. Filma gärna med en mobil och inte längre än 3–4 minuter. Skicka den till eures@arbetsformedlingen.se eller till din kontaktperson.

Boka online-intervjuer

Du har möjlighet att boka in online-intervjuer där du kan möta kandidater som visat intresse för era lediga tjänster. Under eventdagen den 27 oktober har du tillgång till 30-minuters intervju"slots" från kl 09.00 till 18.00 där du väljer vilka "slots" du vill göra tillgängliga för kandidater.

Onlineintervjuerna genomförs genom ett videoverktyg som heter Jitsi. Ni behöver varken installera programvara eller anpassa ert system/firewall. 

Funktionen online intervjuer finner ni i ert "Dashboard" under "Job applications/Interviews".  

Observera att du kan välja andra videoverktyg såsom Google Meet, WhatsApp, Messenger eller telefon etc. för intervjuer som kan hållas under eventdagen eller vid andra tidpunkter. Se till att informera sökande om alternativa videoverktyg i er annons. I detta fall utför du dessa planerade intervjuer utanför portalen.

Thank you for joining the Swedish Day 2022, taking place online on the 27th of October between 13:00-16.30 CET.

In order to get the most of this event, you should:

• Improve your profile / CV

Pay attention to your language, technical or soft skills, as well as educational fields. If you haven’t done so yet, we strongly advise you to have your CV uploaded in English or have it retrieved from the EURES portal. You can as well add your LinkedIn profile or any online portfolio. 

• Apply for jobs & confirm your attendance to interviews

There will be plenty of jobs waiting for you on the platform. Browse through these vacancies and apply as soon as possible to those matching your skills and expectations. Uploading your CV is not enough, the employer can only view your profile/ CV when you apply for their jobs.

Companies may also invite you for one or more online interviews, to take place before, on or after the event day.

In case you are pre-selected, you will get a notification by the employer(s) on possible timeslots for the interview, to which you should answer as quickly as possible.

If you have already applied, you might have some invitations pending your confirmation. Please check on a regular basis.

Pre sessions

Before the event we will invite registered participants to an information meeting (pre-sessions) to learn more about Sweden and the participating employers. This will be done on:

• 24th October 15:00-15:45
• 26th Oktober 17:30-18:00

On the event day 27th

On the event day, you can attend live presentations from the companies and be able to meet and listen to the employers and ask your questions.

You will be able to post your questions in the general chat that will be offered on the event-page.

You can also watch us live, learning more about Sweden and the participating employers and what opportunities there will be for you.

Prepare for the interview(s)

In order to better prepare, you should thoroughly research available information on the participating companies their main projects and recruitment needs. Select the companies you want to approach, or who have invited you for an interview, identify the questions you may want to ask and try to anticipate possible questions from the employer.

A cared personal look is important (even if the interview is online) and a good level of English combined with a positive attitude, will prove highly beneficial.

Please make sure, ahead of the day of an online interview, you have access to:

• PC, laptop, tablet / iPad or another mobile device plus a headset with a microphone and a webcam;
• a stable internet connection;
• If you have an interview time slot confirmed – the employer will contact you on the time agreed 

If you are not an EU/EEA or Swiss citizen

Please bear in mind that, while you may participate in this event and use the www.europeanjobdays.eu platform for job search and meeting employers, you will still have additional legal obligations and administrative procedures to go through to get access to the European labour market.

We advise you to check beforehand for additional information:

• the basic EU labour market accessing principles for different non-EU country nationals,
• the EU Immigration Portal

You should also be aware that employers may decide not to go through your application, due to the expected length of immigration procedures related to your hiring.

Welcome to join our joint EURES 30 celebration, “Today's dream, tomorrow's reality”

As this event will not have any jobs or companies joining, you will be the center of attention. All countries will have their own presentation in a closed Teams channel where you can interact directly with visitors. 

We will invite all of you to 6 occasions for question and answers if you have questions regarding the event. Join these if you have questions or if you just would like to talk to you colleagues. 

Please prepare the following points to be prepared for your participation.  

During May: 

• register officially at the event page with your country account. 
• to define the contact point for the event in your country - (s)he could be asked to participate in a series of webinars, to be held up until mid/late-May, to better clarify what is expected from all participating countries.

From May to early September: 

• select 1-2 speakers, prepare, and pre-record a Living & working presentation in English on your country.
• guidelines about content, duration (ca. 15 minutes) and format is provided by mail
• support to the recording will be provided to you by ECORYS | WAAT, on demand. This presentation will be repeated and livestreamed on the event day (October 22nd), ideally with the same speakers. 

Mid-August – 21st October: 

• promoting the event to relevant jobseekers, stakeholders, and employer participants in your country: 
• social media contents, banners, but also emailing templates, flyers and eventually posters, with QR codes, will be provided to you in English, as they are made available (you can adapt them and translate them to your language if you prefer to do so) 
• you can always ask for support or clarification to the Event organizing team in case you have doubts about the type of content | posts to be published. 

Up until early September: 

• defining the EURES Advisers’ Team to be available on the country’s one-to-one chat (on October 22nd); get associated to the event on the platform.

Up until early October: 

• updating the country profile on the platform, with relevant content 
• providing country-specific contents, testimonials, speakers, if requested by the Event Organizing Team.

The aim of this EU financed EURES TMS Sweden project is to match skilled candidates across EU with employers with hard to fill vacancies. Based on certain conditions, financial support can be provided to jobseekers and employers from an EU country, Norway, or Iceland.

Jobseekers

• 18 +
• Citizen or long-term resident of an EU country, Norway, or Iceland 
• Willing to relocate for a job in another EU Member State, Norway or Iceland for at least 6 months

Jobseekers may be eligible for financial support to cover some of the costs for a job interview, relocation, family, language training and/or recognition of qualifications.

Employers

• Based in an EU country, Norway or Iceland
• Recruiting skilled workers from another EU country, Norway or Iceland
• Offering employment for 6 months or longer

Employers with less than 250 employees, may be eligible for financial support to cover some of the costs to implement an integration programme for newly recruited workers relocating from another EU country, Norway or Iceland.

Jobseekers and employers interested to take part in TMS Sweden must contact a EURES Adviser to get mobility and recruitment services.
