For one of our clients from the automotive sector, based in Brussels, Belgium we are looking for a Wire Harness Design Engineer.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Design of different components such as tube assemblies and manifolds (fuel, lube, and air), unit support brackets, electrical harnesses, and cold structures;
- Direct CAD activity, 3D routing and package layout;
- Making the electrical wiring diagram;
- Defining connector configurations;
- Defining electrical circuits, relays and grounds.
The profile we are looking for:
- Engineering background (Master or Bachelor Degree);
- CAD tool knowledge;
- Knowledge of CATIA V5;
- Experience with Electrical Work Bench;
- Experience in reading technical drawings;
- Experience in reading and using engineering specifications;
- Knowledge of Vehicle EDS systems in a 3D environment.
Desirable:
- Understanding of cost structures;
- Trained and certified to utilize Team Centre (TCe);
- Knowledge of harness installation requirements;
- Knowledge of harness manufacturing requirements.
A minimum of one-two years’ experience in a similar position and proficient English are mandatory. Knowledge of French is highly desirable.
