- Denmark - Hillerød

Are you keen to join a strategic project and contribute to the expansion of production capacity outside of Denmark? Join Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) now and engage in a challenging journey.

About the department

You will join a dedicated and highly competent team in DMD and be at the crossroad between Device R&D, Production and our equipment suppliers. Our mission is to implement new production capacity for FlexPen® around the world and to standardise our approach to support Novo Nordisk's growing market and expansion projects.

The job

As validation engineer, you will be responsible for the quality, compliance and standardisation of the project's validation documentation for assembly and packaging equipment, including the IT and automation part.

You will define and describe the validation strategy and ensure its proper execution. You will review and approve the quality activity plan from the supplier. You will have the responsibility of establishing timely the protocols, reports and rationales and ensuring the coordination of the validation activities. You will also ensure that the validation documentation is at the right quality level and in compliance with Novo Nordisk and local requirements.

Finally you will be in charge of ensuring proper hand-over of the validation package to the line of business, to secure the maintenance of the documentation, and of providing inputs to improve the validation standards. Some travelling activity abroad is to be expected (approximately 30 days a year).

Qualification

You have combined your MSc degree in pharmacy, engineering or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in quality or process support. You have a proven track record in GMP and risk management expertise and have successfully worked with validation.

Success in this job calls for structured person balancing theory with a pragmatic approach. You can conceptualise the validation strategy as well as master the details regarding the components on the line, and you have solid communication skills enabling you to explain it all in a clear and concise way to yours stakeholders and colleagues.

At Novo Nordisk we create value by putting patients first. Every ten seconds two people are diagnosed with diabetes, and close to 366 million people worldwide need us. Working here is not just a way to make a living, but a way to make a difference.
