TOOLING EXPERT – AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

We are currently seeking a Tooling Expert to join our team and provide essential support in upholding tooling standards throughout the organisation. Following is the description of the open position: YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - You will be responsible for the following activities: · General support and supervision over the process of new injection molding tools ordering (from concept through final acceptance). · Specialized control/optimization task in the area of tool-design & tool construction. · Specialized tasks in part feasibility analysis. · Support account managers at quotation stage, new Tool, duplicate Tool and refurbishment Tool. · Support new projects and tool quotes. · Detailed technical contacts with customers. · Frequent contacts with the mold makers to ensure smooth coordination and relevance of the tools. · Coordination and resolve serious problems with molds in production, improvement and standardisation. YOUR PROFILE - This position requires the following skills and attributes: · You preferably have a Master's, Bachelor's degree or an equivalent in experience. · Technical background; expertise in mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, … . · Use of Catia and reading + interpretations of 2D & 3D drawings. · Very good moulds knowledge (DFM, Mold Flow,…) and injection machines. · High problem solving skills; use of 8D, Ishikawa, 5Why’s. · Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP. · Highly proficient in reading, writing & speaking English. · Experience in the automotive industry is essential. YOUR PROFILE - This position requires the following skills and attributes:
