Test Engineer

Key responsibilities You will be part of a local team of highly skilled colleagues and will also work internationally with teams in USA, Europe and China. As a test engineer, you will be a significant contributor in relation to new product development. You will be responsible for the development and validation of new test applications in close cooperation with R&D. You will manage large test projects and develop future product test platforms. You will also become a technology owner within your technology area and, as such, drive the deployment of your technology to other global Danfoss sites. Your primary tasks will be: •Development of future product test platforms •Development of product test applications •Facilitating standardised global product testing •Management of test projects To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: You are an experienced engineer who enjoys leading change in a complex environment. You have a relevant background as an electrical engineer and experience from a similar position working in a test or R&D department. You are familiar with acronyms like DUT, FCT, ALT, DfT and SPC and able to discuss these matters with other test engineers. In particular, you have: •Strong SW competences with NI tools like Teststand & Labview and .NET •Experience with the development of HW and SW for test platforms •A good understanding of measurement technologies in the HW area •A good understanding of power electronics •Experience with managing projects As a person, you are a great team player who also manages to work independently. You are dedicated to accuracy in your work and reporting, and you have a “get-it-done” attitude. You are creative, analytical, structured, and proactive, and you understand how to communicate with many different stakeholders. As you will work cross-functionally with different cultures in a global organisation, you must be fluent in written and spoken English. Travelling in this position is limited, but we are looking for candidates who are flexible to travel, should it be required.
