Work assignments

We are looking for you who want to work with us at compulsory school with ages from 6 years to 16 years! 
You can teach in Art, English, Home and consumer studies, Physical education and Health, Mathematics, Modern languages, CEFR min. A1+, Modern languages, CEFR min. A2, Mother tongue tuition, Music, Science studies, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Social study subjects, Geography, History, Religion, Civics, Crafts, Swedish, Swedish as a second language, Technology 

You will work closely with other teachers and recreation teachers. You will have mentorship over students. You are responsible for the planning of teaching, mentoring and contact with guardians. Together with the other educators in the school, you contribute to the student getting a positive and meaningful school day where knowledge development and social training are in focus. 

We support you to apply for teacher certification in Sweden when you have finished studying Swedish. 

Conditions of employment

Type of employment: We can offer you one year of employment with a possibility to a permanent position. 

The one year offer consists of introduction and guidance under supervision of an experienced teaching coach. During the year you have the possibility to study Swedish.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are in training to become a teacher, or who are a primary/secondary school teacher qualified to teach. We expect you to be able to work independently, have good social skills and that you are responsible and committed. You have a positive and professional attitude towards both students, parents and colleagues. You have good leadership with a clear lesson structure, clear expectations and you create good relationships. We place great emphasis on a student-centered approach as well as personal suitability. If you are the one we are looking for, we can offer you a stimulating job together with committed and positive colleagues. 

You are prepared to study swedish so you will finally reach C1 level. That is required to get a Swedish teaching licence and the Swedish licence is needed to have a permanent position as a teacher
