System Engineer

H. Essers is looking for a System Engineer.

We are looking for a System Engineer to support our IT-department in Genk.

As a System Engineer, you are responsible for designing, implementing, managing and the maintaining the IT-infrastructure.

You do this in order to support the corporate processes and needs of H. Essers.

You do this by arranging the network as optimal as possible, by managing the different servers and by installing the necessary software.

You help to ensure the most optimal and efficient way to build this network, you configure the firewall and you help determining routings.

You are also responsible for installing new servers and keeping the current servers up to date.

You install new software or you enhance the current software while keeping the safety of the systems and data in mind.

During the whole process as a System Engineer, you provide support to other colleagues within ICT.

You report directly to the Teamleader.

• You have a bachelor in computer science, or you have equivalent experience.
• You are strong in communication.

• You have sufficient knowledge of the Dutch and English language.
