Ardo is at the beginning of a strategic multiyear plan designed to build a totally new centralised environment, both in terms of applications and infrastructure, in which the Business Processes and Systems department will play an important lead role.
- As a Support Infrastructure Engineer, you and a team of 2 colleagues will be responsible for providing the first-line and second-line support for 500 users.
- You will also have responsibility for incident management. This will range from purely informative user queries or hardware problems to more complex issues with network or data problems, back-up issues, applications that go wrong or technical incidents.
- You will detect and analyse problems with users, setting priorities and looking for high-quality solutions. Depending on your assessment and experience, you will resolve the problem yourself or pass it on to the team of System Engineers.
- You will also be involved in ongoing projects. These projects will be in the areas of Active Directory, software deployment, antivirus, documentation and drawing up inventories, etc.
- You will have the opportunity to suggest initiatives yourself for further optimising the environment.
Profile:
- You have a tertiary qualification in IT or have reached an equivalent level through experience.
- Preferably you will already have gained some experience in a similar role. School-leavers may also be considered for the position.
- To be able to provide users with optimum support and to asses the impact of incidents when they occur, you will have good general (basic) knowledge of hardware, Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Network and Server Management, security (antivirus) and telephony
- Experience with troubleshooting would be a definite bonus.
- It goes without saying that you need to be very customer-focused and service-oriented for this role. But you will able to able to combine your creativity with positive drive and a quest for quality.
- You have good communication skills, work in a structured manner, are results-focused and tackle problems in depth. You display a sense of initiative and are interesting in learning about new things.
- You have good knowledge of Dutch and English and preferably are able to express yourself fluently in French.
