Software Trainer on best-in-class software

Do you have experience with (or a strong interest in) data centers, IT infrastructures or IP networks? If so, you may be the new Software Trainer we are looking for.

Make a difference – be our new Software Trainer

As a Schneider Electric Software Trainer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training related to our Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) software suite, StruxureWare for Data Centers. You will train Field Service Engineers, Service Partners and Customers.

Become our technical expert

The position is part of the Schneider Electric Global Field Services FSR Training team. As the team’s primary Subject Matter Expert on our DCIM software suite, you will need to become an expert on current and future versions of it. You will also need to understand and monitor the data center industry as well as keep up-to-date on the latest pedagogical best practices and work closely with product specialists and the Global Learning and Development Team.

Create & deliver state-of-the-art training

As a primary Subject Matter Expert you will take part in or carry full responsibility for the need analysis, development and production of new training modules. Course content will include presentations, hands-on and supportive supplementary materials. You will also train and support Software Trainers from around the world, manage the activities related to the preparation and delivery of training programs and set up and maintain software training labs.

Professional educator and communicator

To be successful in this role, you must be an exceptional communicator in English (both written and oral), and be experienced in training adults. You should also have a strong educational background in IT or adult learning, and a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a related technical field. Knowledge of (or experience with) data center environments, networking and computing applications, cooling principles and power distribution is a plus. Experience with field service, software service, or monitoring and optimization software is also an advantage.

Professional trainer

You need to be passionate about training, competency development, and cross-cultural learning. Also, since last minute changes often occur in software and training schedules, you need to be flexible, autonomous and focused on problem solving.

About the position

Schneider Electric is the global leader in energy solutions and management, and a key player on the DCIM market. Our company headquarters are in France, but the position is based in Kolding, Denmark. There will be some global travel; approximately 20 to 40 days a year.
