Engine Deck Repair is the largest shipyard in Belgium, specialized in the maintenance and repair of ships, working on ship parts (such as auxiliary and main engines, rudder, bow thruster, ship cranes, ...), blasting and painting of the ships' hull, replacement or repair of parts of the ships'

construction. All these challenging activities are performed at our shipyard in Antwerp and on location on board of ships all over the world.

For our Power pack team we are urgently looking for a driven MAINTENANCE MECHANIC with a hands-on mentality

YOUR JOB

As a maintenance mechanic, you and your colleagues are responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the entire

shipyard. You are responsible for all dry docks and everything related to the shipyard. This includes preventive

maintenance, diagnosis + repairs, testing, connections on board ships, …. You also supervise the order, tidiness and

safety.

YOUR PROFILE

 You have a strong affinity with technology or you have had a technical education.

 Experience as a mechanic is a big plus.

 Having a forklift truck certificate and a VCA certificate is a plus.

 You can keep a cool head and set priorities.

 You work accurately and punctually.

 Obviously you are a team player

 Occasional overtime and weekend work do not deter you.
