Senior Project Engineer/Designer HVAC

The senior project engineer is responsible for the integration of technical installation in the architectural concept of projects. In this position you will work mainly for the Buildings Business Unit (offices, public buildings, hotels, schools,…).

FUNCTION

·         Design and calculations of HVAC installations: based on the analysis of customer needs you elaborate the concept.

·         Support CAD-designers and planners for the further elaboration of the plans

·         Supervision/support during construction phase

·         Contact with clients and colleagues (operations manager, project managers, design principal and other project team members)

·         Participation in research activities about energy efficiency and sustainable building

 PROFILE

• Master degree in (electro)mechanical engineering or equivalent by experience
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in an engineering or HVAC installations company
• Good knowledge of MS Office and design/calculation software
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Eye for detail, quality-minded and respect for deadlines
• Fluent in English AND French or Dutch
• Willing to relocate to Belgium (Brussels region)
• BREEAM certification is a strong asset
