Job Description

We are looking for a Global HR Business Partner/ HR Director to support our Global Supply Chain for the RAC division (Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Controls) in Danfoss Cooling segment. You will have great opportunities to play an important role in the division and setting your footprint in a very dynamic organization. As a strategic partner, you will align business objectives with employees and management, as well as serve as a consultant to management on Human Resources related issues.



You will act as a change agent, assess and anticipate HR-related needs, and communicate needs proactively with business management.You will formulate partnerships across the HR functions at the local and corporate level to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.



The HR Business Partner maintains an effective level of business literacy about the organization’s financial position, strategic plans, culture and competition.This key role reports to the Head of DCS-RAC HR and will work closely with members of the Senior Supply Chain Leadership Team.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement organizational design (OD) and talent management strategies to meet the needs of the business
  • Drive implementation of key HR programs such as succession planning, performance management and compensation programs
  • Coach and mentor leaders to drive greater productivity and increased employee engagement
  • Create and maintain strategic partnerships with local Human Resources to ensure alignment among HR, Functional Units and Corporate Strategies
  • Maintain, monitor and analyze trended human capital metrics and data
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
  • Provide guidance on organization design, workforce planning, learning and development, succession planning and HR practices
  • Participate in special HR initiatives and projects as needed

 



Required education and work experience:

  • Seven to ten years of HR Business Partner experience within industry, with significant experience supporting supply chain leaders
  • Alternatively extensive leadership experience in supply chain with a passion for HR and OD
  • Masters or other advanced degree in Business, HR or Organization (OD)
  • Experience partnering with Senior Leaders in the following areas: Talent Management, Employee Relations, Organizational Design, Change Management and Executive Coaching
  • Deep understanding of Human Resources functional and technical areas including, but not limited to; compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management, learning and development
  • Experience in working with supply chain organizations and building up organizational models

  • Familiarity with incentive and compensation plans
  • Take initiative to identify and anticipate needs and make recommendations for implementation
