Would you like to be part of developing next generation LEGO Technology products? Then take on a senior position in cross-functional project teams and help innovate new play concepts for a broad product range at one of the world’s leading toy brands. Help increase the LEGO Play value through relevant technologies You will join an Electronics team of 14 that support product development of a broad technology product portfolio - from early ideation to production. The product range covers everything from simple lighting and sound units to advanced robotic platforms. As Senior Hardware Engineer, you will be creative and innovative in all activities to ensure optimum play experience, high quality and minimum cost and: Participate in cross-functional project teams as a proactive and engaged team player Develop and integrate electronic circuits that meets LEGO Requirements Prepare briefs, create technical specifications and documentation Debrief, align and mentor engineering colleagues to work towards aligned goals Identify and include all relevant stakeholders in a given task and serve as the go-to person on specific technical topics Be travelling 4-5 weeks a year, predominately to Asia Everyday creativity You will join a company where we invite you to think both logically and creatively in everything you do. Experienced Electronics Engineer or equivalent and a strong team player You will be challenged on your ability to apply proven technologies in new play concepts. So, to be a success, you must have experience in developing electronic constructions, ranging from simple to advanced, combined with a strong collaborative mind-set, allowing you to participate proactively in teams. Moreover, you: Have at least 3 years of experience in product development focusing on hardware development combined with a bachelor of science or similar electronics engineering background Are curious and full of ideas and have an interest in children's play and learning Are extrovert, who like relating to others and you have the skills and experience to debrief, support and mentor your engineering colleagues Have knowledge or experience with high volume manufacturing partners in Asia Preferably have experience with Cadence EDA tools, and you communicate effortlessly in English Join the global family of LEGO In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you will collaborate across the LEGO Organisation.
