Senior Chef de Partie - Ashford Castle

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Chef de Partie to join the Kitchen team .

The ideal candidate for the Senior Chef de Partie position will enjoy working within a friendly and productive team and have excellent communication skills. The core emphasis of this role will primarily be in ‘hands on’ capacity where the person will be involved in day to day cooking, running sections, administration, etc.

This is a full time position, the successful candidate would need to be available to work five days a week between Monday and Sunday.

Aptitude & Attitude Criteria:

- Have a passion for food and food production - Excellent communication skills - Good organizational skills

- Ability to handle pressurized situations and busy periods

- Flexible, Innovative and Adaptable

- Ability to lead and motivate a team.

- Successfully graduated with a professional culinary arts degree

- 3 years experience at a similar level within a similar hotel or restaurant environment. - Good knowledge and practical chef skills

- Knowledge of and adherence to Food Hygiene and HACCP Regulations

- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
