Your position  

In your onshore position as Completion Manager for Study & Tender in the Consulting Services team you will be a valuable member of a dedicated team whose mission is to support our clients to achieve success in their energy projects within energy infrastructure in oil & gas. 

Your place of work will be either at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg or at one of our locations in Copenhagen, Poland or UK.  

The position is full-time and 10 - 50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

The set-up 

You will be hired as a Semco Maritime employee and work in a team dedicated to one of our national or international customers. 

Your tasks & responsibilities 
As a Completion Manager for Study & Tender your tasks and responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to: 

  • Participate as SAS engineer in Concept studies for Electrification of offshore installations (power from shore).  
  • Responsible for SAS system design. 
  • Establish a SAS signal list to C study level. 
  • Develop preliminary SAS topologies for the project. 
  • Input to cause and effect and shut down philosophies. 
  • Participate in system design and safety reviews. 
  • Interface design with power management systems. 
  • Involve SAS system vendor for input to study. 
  • Input to study report .

The tasks will depend on the specific client's needs.

Your profile & qualifications  

We are looking for experienced and structured Completion Manager for Study & Tender who is passionate about procurement and wants to leave their personal mark on the tasks. You have proactive and organised approach to your work and are eager to contribute to our clients and your team's success. 

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have: 

  • A bachelor or master’s degree in Automation/Cybernetics/Instrumentation. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an engineer. 
  • Experience with offshore projects within energy industry. 
  • Ability to specify, dimension and integrate process control & monitoring systems, fire & gas detection and protection/shutdown systems, including field devices and safety shutdown systems (ESD and PSD).  
  • Ability to take responsibility and ownership for a discipline or multidiscipline procurement package's procurement process. 
  • Ability to provide necessary support during installation and MC of SAS related equipment and modifications.  
  • Ability to develop new and maintain system design documentation like system philosophies and specifications including alarm specifications. 
  • Ability to perform analysis and calculations according to IEC 61508/61511. 
  • Competence to translate process functionality to the system supplier. Follow up of supplier documentation and verification of resulting software and hardware deliverables. 
  • Ability to interact with and understand input documentation from source disciplines like process, electrical and safety. 
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills at a professional level.
