We are looking for employees for various positions all around Finnish Lapland. We’ll do our best to find an offer that matches your preferences.

We hire for a variety of roles, such as chef, waiter, housekeeper, receptionist, guide, shift/team leader, head chef, host, property maintenance worker, and bus driver – with a particular emphasis on chefs and waiters. If you have experience or interest in these roles, we would love to hear from you!

Duration of employment:
We aim to find a position that suits your preferences.  Assignments usually start in November or December and end in March. Some employees work just for the busiest holiday season in December, while some start as early as October and continue through April.

Location:
Our positions are located throughout Lapland, especially in villages near ski resorts. Some of them are busier catered to more youthful tourists while some are for visitors looking for absolute tranquility in the peaceful wilderness. The city of Rovaniemi is the main city in the area for those who want the best of both worlds. Locations include, but are not limited to: Levi, Ranua, Rovaniemi, Ruka, Ylläs, Saariselkä, Utsjoki, and Kemi.

Working hours:
Typical contracts offer 90 – 112,5hrs/per 3-week period which translates to about 30-37,5hrs per week on average.

Salary:
Salary usually ranges between 11-19eur/hr depending on your role and experience + extras such as double salary on Sundays and public holidays, and evening/night shift extras, according to collective labor agreements.

Accommodation:
Generally, we/the company you work for provide accommodation. Options include single rooms with shared common areas or shared rooms. Some have the possibility to have their own apartment. Rent usually ranges between 200-500 euros depending on the type of accommodation.

Environment:
Season is busiest during Christmas time and school holidays in February. The number of shifts fluctuates based on this demand. Winter in Lapland is cold, and temperatures typically vary between –5 degrees Celsius all the way to -30 with wind adding to this. Commuting to work usually requires some walking in the cold.

Bring your friend/partner:
We’ll do our best to get job offers in the same company/town for you and your friend/partner. This means you can also share accommodation.

Are you an EU citizen?
EU citizens don’t need work permits. You will need to visit to the tax office where you’ll get your Finnish social security number and tax card.

Are you a non-EU citizen?
You can apply for a residence permit when you have a job contract. A work permit/residence permit costs 100-400 euros. We’ll help you with the application process, which includes a visit to Finnish embassy. This process can take 1-3 months.
