Job ID: 227442 Location: Vejle, Ballerup or Hamburg Organization: Siemens in Denmark – Siemens Wind Power – http://www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: full time For our Offshore Engineering department within our Offshore market unit located in Vejle, Ballerup Denmark or Hamburg Germany, we are looking for an experienced and committed SCADA Engeneering Manager . Our portfolio of significant, technically complex offshore wind farms is increasing worldwide. As a SCADA Engeneering Manager, you will act as a main technical interface in relation to offshore SCADA/Automation projects during the project execution phases as well as a contributor to the offshore development in general. You will drive the projects, both internally and externally, create project specific SCADA/Automation solutions together with a SCADA Project Team, and you will be involved from contract signing until the project is handed over to the client. What are my responsibilities? Coordination of the implementation of the SCADA systems for offshore customer projects worldwide Manage the process both internally and externally from contract signing till handover to client / O&M Participating in customer meetings Ensuring the agreed deadlines, by tracking and updating the milestones of the project Design the SCADA/Automation solution based on the customer requirements and creation of the Bill of Material Focus on RISK and DRA for the complete system Manage the core project team (Configuration, Technician, Network specialist) Create design documentation based on input from the contract and customer requirements Handle Variation Orders for additional functionality requested by the customer Management of open issues of customer projects (snag list) Coordinate technical support to the project organization during installation, commissioning and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) On-site troubleshooting (mainly done by our technicians) Create as build documentation Budget followup in relation for the SCADA/Aytomation pacakeges Identifying issues and creating solutions for improving wind farm Software and SCADA systems What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a strong technical background and ideally a degree as an Electrical Engineer, Soft Ware Engineer or Project manager with experience within the Wind industry. As a person, you are well-structured, can create and maintain overview even under pressure, and building network internally and working in project teams is part of your DNA. You have experience with customer contact, you see your projects through and posses a drive to getting things done and like to support the business with its development. You work well in a department with a high workload, with a culture based on trust and openness, where ownership and empowerment is a key driver in our daily work. The department is part of a growing business and thereby changes are part of our daily work. You possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing.
