Are you experienced in SAP basis, and do you have a deep interest in management responsibility? Do you have the drive to facilitate development of our capabilities and raise the quality of our processes to a new level in a customer-focused team responsible for securing surveillance? Then perhaps you are our new SAP Basis Manager in Integration & Infrastructure, part of Group IT Danfoss. On a global basis, you will assume leadership and management responsibility for an experienced and highly skilled team of eleven employees, ensuring, through coordination and systematic planning, that tasks are solved in sequences that fit together and optimally supports operation of the entire IT systems. Due to the global character of the position, some travel activity must be expected, but the main part of your time will be at our office in Nordborg or Neumünster. Prioritisation, development and management responsibility Your main task will be to prioritise and streamline processes and critical tasks and, thus, ensure that we are prescient about many challenges. In addition, you will be interacting with users on all levels and be responsible for managing daily operations and supporting tasks for critical SAP systems. You will also assume responsibility for continuous improvement of provided operating service levels, including definition of key performance indicators and metrics. Specifically, your key tasks will be: •Being responsible for a high quality surveillance and operation of SAP system landscape running on a Windows/MS SQL platform and a Unix/Oracle platform •Continuous improvement of global work procedures, standards, and methods in coordination with global infrastructure teams •Providing necessary security measures and systems, disaster recovery plans, response time and system backups •Lead definition of monitoring requirements and event notification •Aligning SAP Basis with implemented Change Management, Incident Management and Problem Management Processes, SLA definitions and escalation paths •Participating in and influencing contract negotiations with software and service providers •Managing maintenance agreements and software upgrades (SAP System Life Cycle Management) •Vendor management of external service providers (HCL and HP) Leadership and global mind-set You hold a BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent and have solid working experience with SAP basis or the like. The crucial factor is your great interest in management, where you, with a strong personality, are able to provide great service but also to set the agenda in an organisation with many stakeholders. You evaluate which tasks are critical, structure tasks and ensure a visible management style where you keep track and see the big picture. On a more personal note, you have a holistic and global mind-set with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English and Danish.
