You will join our Project Execution area consisting approximately 500 highly skilled project employees. Specifically, you will be part of our Project Controls Team, consisting of 35 highly skilled Senior Project controllers and Project controllers in Denmark and India, who oversee controlling of the largest EPCMV projects in NNE. We engage and interact with a variety of stakeholders. How you might spend your days
As a Project Cost Engineer, you'll be working with a diverse, multi-disciplinary team where your daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage Project Controls at all levels and you will often take up a position as Project Controls Manager with a team of 10-15 people within the project controlling.
- Lead all financial issues in a holistic perspective and related activities in single projects or portfolio of projects. Ensure correct financial management and reporting to establish best possible foundation for profitable and lean project execution.
- Ensure that activities are performed in accordance with project controls procedures. Ensure that relevant project members are familiar with the methods and that use of these is clearly communicated to project organization e.g. Project Performance Report, plan and monitor cashflow, follow up on milestones, bonus/penalty, risk, forecast of project staffing and procurement items, Earned Value Management, Profit & Loss calculation.
- By your proven personal and professional skills, you will constructively and proactively challenge, push back and take ownership on delivering accurate reports.
- You support improvement and developments of our processes and tools/systems
The position is based in Kalundborg or Virum, but we expect you to be flexible since we work closely together with our customer, and we are where they are.

- have experience as Cost Engineer, Civil Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, Senior Cost Controller, Project Controls Manager.
- have an educational background (Bachelor) within Economics or as technical engineer.
- have +15 years of experience within Project Controls, ideally from the pharmaceutical, biotech, food or chemical industry
- It is key that you have in-depth experience of Cost controlling procedures, forecasting and monthly reporting to customers
- have knowledge within Project Planning, Project Risk Management, Tender / Contract Management
- are interested in working in an efficient environment, value engagement, and want to work with highly skilled colleagues
- have very high stakeholder management and communication skills
- can create structure and handle several projects simultaneously
- have experience using PIMS, NAV, SAP, Excel, Power point
- are experienced in creating and using of Earned Value Management methology
- are fluent in English, spoken and written. It is advantage to be fluent in Danish, although this is not a requirement. You live in Denmark.
