Product Owner – Customer Portals

DLG Group is on a transformative journey to modernize and unify our digital customer experiences. As part of this evolution, we are strengthening our self-service capabilities to better serve our customers across agriculture, energy, and housing sectors. We are now seeking a Product Owner – Customer Portals to lead the strategic development and continuous improvement of our customer-facing portals, ensuring they deliver seamless, secure, and value-adding digital experiences.

You will act as the bridge between customer needs, business goals, and technical execution, enabling self-service, commercial growth, transparency, and engagement across markets. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how DLG Group interacts with its customers digitally, with a strong focus on integration, usability, and performance.

Location: Fredericia (DK) or Flensburg (DE), with flexibility for remote work part of the time.

Language: Depending on whether you work in Fredericia (Denmark) or Flensburg (Germany), fluency in English is required. In addition, you should be proficient in either Danish (for Fredericia) or German (for Flensburg).

Your role and responsibilities

As Product Owner – Customer Portals in Group Digitalization, you will:

  • Own and manage the customer portal product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Define and evolve the customer portal vision in collaboration with Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, and other departments.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer impact, feasibility, and strategic relevance.
  • Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and integration teams to deliver intuitive and efficient portal experiences.
  • Ensure integration with backend systems (e.g., ERP, CRM) and secure data flows.
  • Lead portal rollout projects across regions (e.g., Denmark, Germany, Sweden).
  • Monitor portal usage, performance, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, accessibility, and performance standards.
  • Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders across the organization.

This role is anchored in the Group Digitalization Department and reports to the Head of Digital Products. It plays a key role in shaping the digital customer journey across the DLG Group.

  • Empowering Self-Service: Designing portal experiences that reduce support inquiries and enable customers to manage their interactions independently.
  • Enhancing Customer Satisfaction: Delivering intuitive, accessible, and responsive digital interfaces that meet customer expectations.
  • Driving Commercial Growth: Supporting increased order volumes and customer engagement through optimized portal functionality.
  • Ensuring Compliance and Security: Maintaining high standards for data protection, accessibility, and system integrity.
  • Building for Scalability and Innovation: Creating a flexible, future-ready portal ecosystem that supports sustainable growth and fosters innovation.

What you bring

You are a strategic and hands-on Product Owner who thrives in agile environments and can translate customer and business needs into impactful digital solutions. You likely have solid experience in a Product Owner role or a similar position, ideally working with commercial customer portals or self-service platforms.

Your strong understanding of agile methodologies and product lifecycle management enables you to navigate complex projects with confidence. You possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, allowing you to align diverse teams and drive progress effectively.

Your ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment is complemented by your familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps. An analytical mindset and strong problem-solving abilities are key strengths, and fluency in English is essential, while knowledge of German and/or Danish would be an asset.
