Operations Manager France
At Zunder, we aim to build the largest ultra-fast charging network in Southern Europe, with over 4,000 charging stations comprising 20,000 charging points by 2025, supported by an urban charging network to meet the needs of the growing number of electric vehicle users.
Founded in 2017, Zunder is a rapidly growing scale-up, and we are expanding our presence in the French ultra-fast charging market. As part of our strong development, we are looking for an EVSE Project Manager to join our dynamic teams.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for the technical and operational management of the projects assigned to them, as part of national deployments of ultra-fast charging station offerings, as well as the animation and management of partner subcontractors.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the monitoring and successful implementation of projects and operations with partners under their responsibility, particularly within the framework of national reference offerings.
Responsibilities in Operations:
- Manage and ensure the commissioning and opening of different stations built in France, in coordination with various stakeholders.
- Establish partnership networks with installation and maintenance companies established in France, at national, regional, and local levels.
- Support the allocation of maintenance services for stations, in coordination with procurement and operations departments.
- Support the definition and revision of preventive maintenance plans for stations. In particular, define the schedule of actions in stations in accordance with the French calendar (including holiday periods).
- Monitor and control corrective maintenance operations on the Zunder network in France.
- Coordinate all operations and parties involved in station operation in France, both internal and external, including contractors and concessionaires.
- Establish procedures to optimize processes and ensure expected service levels at stations.
- Analyze and propose actions to improve efficiency and reduce station losses.
- Periodic monitoring reports to operations management.
Responsibilities in Project Management:
- Lead company projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and scope.
- Responsible for supporting/managing the engineering team, both external and internal, to achieve the opening goals of electric vehicle charging stations.
- Establish procedures to optimize processes and achieve goals.
- Coordinate all project stakeholders.
- Ensure project control by leading them to successful completion through direct and daily involvement in coordinating various stakeholders.
- Review, compare, and allocate budgets in coordination with procurement, project, and operations management.
- Economic and deadline monitoring of ongoing work.
- Ensure legalization and commissioning of installations once they have been built, reducing lead times.
- Periodic monitoring reports to project and operations management.
- Engineering background (Bachelor's or Master's degree), ideally specializing in electrical engineering, you have at least 2 years of successful experience, both technical and commercial, including project management or site supervision in this field.
- Experience in the field of EV charging infrastructure or electric mobility would be a plus.
- You are willing to travel within France and hold a valid driver's license.
- Perfect command of the French language is required, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Spanish would be a definite asset.
