We are looking for a MS PROJECT EXPERT in Cologne, NORTH RHINE- WESTPHALIA

In particular for the development and integration of project schedules around large scale sport event operations.

The employer is an international consultancy in the sports industry. For more than a decade, their independent, solution-based advice, skilled process and project management, and their extensive network of experts have proved invaluable to national and international football associations, governments of World Cup and EURO host countries and sports venue operators.

Your tasks:

- Setting up project environment from a master schedule down to several project-streams and further sub-projects (reaching up to thousands of tasks and milestones) for international football competitions with the focus on UEFA club competitions, EURO and FIFA World Cups

- Providing guidance to project managers on most efficient way of scheduling timelines and integrating

a large number of interdependent project plans

- Development of schedule management standards and templates that become applicable to a whole project environment

- Support to functional units within associations to create sub-project specific schedules, based on the templates or transferring existing schedules into the templates

- Integration with status reporting required (respective platforms are most often introduced through our clients)

- Linking tasks and milestones across the individual project plans (give and take)

- Creating macros, filtering and groups for custom reporting from MS Project (beyond the reporting tools in place and based on solid baselines)

- Integration into MS-sharepoint environment

Your Profile:

- Degree in business informatics or similar (but not mandatory, more important is your expert knowledge in MS Project)

- PMP (PMI) certification or similar would be an asset

- Sufficient German skills

- Fluency in English is beneficial
