Qualifications: 

-    5 years experience with CAD design tools, e.g. NX, Catia, or similar

-    Good understanding of strength of materials, static structural analysis, heat transfer, the design and specification of polymer materials

-    A firm grasp of metal machining basics, plastic injection molding, compression molding

-    Experience designing printed circuit boards (PCB) and flexible printed circuit boards (flex PCB’s) 

-    M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent



Responsibilities:

-    Mechanical design for complex electroacoustic and electronic systems

-    Develop innovative design solutions using new material and manufacturing methods

-    Creation and evaluation of prototypes for design refinement

-    Oversee construction of prototypes through the use of offsite machining processes, 3-D printing, or other resources
