Because of an increased demand for our radio plans to international projects, we are seeking a Radio Planner for Customer Project Management Team.
With direct reference to our Head of Customer Projects, you will be part of a team consisting of 12 colleagues with technical backgrounds as engineers, project managers and technicians. As a Radio Planner you will be joining a team who delivers remote reading solutions to utilities. In the team we have an informal work environment and tone of communication, where people help each other when needed, and always strive to challenge status quo to serve our customers in the best way possible. You will more specifically team up with our Senior Radio Specialist in Customer Projects, and the two of you will be working closely together in order to serve the needs for radio plans globally in Kamstrup.
A job with focus on radio planning
In the position as Radio Planner, you will be responsible for the radio planning of networks for remote reading as well as initial and subsequent troubleshooting. This will be done in close collaboration with customers, Sales, R&D, and colleagues in the Service and Solution Division. You will be introduced and trained by our Senior Radio Specialist.
More specific you will be responsible for:
- Handling the technical communication within radio planning for Kamstrup's customers
- Field visits with customers and subcontractors
- Technical support and troubleshooting within radio planning for Kamstrup colleagues globally
- Participating in optimization of processes within radio planning
In the job you can expect up to 20 travel days a year.
Personality matters
You have minimum a relevant bachelor’s degree within IT, Engineering or similar. Practical or theoretical experience within radio planning, antenna theory and/or radio communication, will be considered as an advantage. Whether you have a few years of experience or are newly graduated as the top of your class is not crucial. Furthermore, you hold a great interest for combining theory and practice in order to produce high quality radio plans.
As a person you are responsible and have an eye for the detail. You work structured and proactive with your tasks which are always delivered within the agreed deadline. You are an excellent communicator, who manages to translate technical specifications to the receivers’ needs. Finally, you are characterized by being energetic, self-driving and see opportunities rather than limitations.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English both written and oral. Moreover, Danish will be an asset as well as other languages such as German.
