Your main responsibility is to work along in the SCRUM team and develop yourself. The focus of your personal development will depend on who you are and in which you want to become the best in. Your work will be seen and touched by loads of people, worldwide.

On the Calendar42 back end, the team gets the chance to work with very large data sets, with millions of records each. Not only that, but we're collecting data from a wide range of public sources, so that merging, organizing, and querying these data sets becomes a major challenge.

Needless to say, at Calendar42 we face batches of complex problems as often as we eat sandwiches. These are tasks that you generally will see on a day-to-day basis, so get excited!

  • Academic thinking level (Computer Science or related);
  • Some knowledge/experience in Python;
  • Some experience with RDBMS, object-oriented design, and algorithm design;
  • Curiosity in with systems’ scalability;
  • Preferably, familiarity with Django, XMPP, ZMQ, PostgreSQL;
