Atlas Copco is a Swedish company but the global headquarters of its compressor business is in Wilrijk, where a total of around 3,000 people are employed.

We are looking for a passionate and committed IT Technology Engineer who can help to develop, implement, and support Java based applications:

  • You will be responsible for a variety of IT activities, ranging from application design, over application development to technical documentation and advanced support.
  • In this role you will be working together with the Business Process Organization, the data team, business key users, IT teams and suppliers.
  • You have an IT development (Java) background and a very strong analytical mindset to understand the complex environment you will be working in.
  • You will work on new developments as well as support of legacy applications
Anforderungen an die Stelle

Experience

  • Solid experience in Java development is a must
  • Solid experience with Java and SQL and related frameworks and components is a must
  • Experience with following frameworks/technologies is an asset: Hibernate, Spring Boot, Vaadin
  • Experience in discrete manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and/or warehousing is an asset.
  • Experience in working in a large international company is an asset
  • Experience in project management is an asset

 

Education

  • You have a master degree in ICT, Engineering or equivalent.
  • You have very strong analytical skills.
  • You have an excellent level of English.
  • Dutch language skills are considered as a strong asset.
  • Project management certifications or equivalent are an asset
