What will you be doing as a
IT SAP WM Consultant?
For the further roll-out and implementation of SAP in the various divisions of BIG we are looking for reinforcement of the SAP Competence Centre. You will be the point of contact for the business and will be responsible for implementation, customisation and support within the SAP WM module

• You will work within our applications team as a WM specialist.
• You work together with the other SAP consultants within the WM team as well as with colleagues responsible for other SAP modules (PP, MM, SD, CO, FI, QM)
• You analyse and optimise the business processes and work out solutions together with the functional SAP analysts and other implementation partners
• Taking into account the scope, you configure the system to the needs of the internal customers taking into account the existing BIG Template solution
• You are also responsible for writing the necessary functional programming specifications and following them up during development
• You are responsible for testing and documenting the developed solutions, as well as training key users and/or end users
• Besides projects and application changes, your responsibilities also include 2nd line support and standby duty (night & weekend)
• You report to the Team Lead of the WM team
• You work in an international environment

Do you have what it takes to become a IT SAP WM Consultant?

• You have experience in customising SAP WM
• Experience in related topics is a plus, but not a must have: RF applications and architecture (Georgia Telnet, ...), label printing (Bartender, ...)
• Experience with other SAP logistics modules is a plus
• You are prepared to carry out assignments abroad
• You are customer-, team- and result-oriented
• You are a teamplayer
• You communicate fluently and appropriately with colleagues, developers, key-users/users
• You have had a higher education
• You have a sound knowledge of English and French
• You are able to quickly understand business processes and translate them into SAP WM configurations.
• You are willing to invest time to broaden your WM knowledge through self-study under the guidance of fellow experts within the team.
