About the department

You get the opportunity to join a dynamic, international, and high performing team of Finished Products in Bagsværd, Denmark. In close collaboration with our key internal stakeholders in Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Development, international sites, etc., we develop and execute on sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, market insights, and contract management to improve performance on delivery, quality, cost, as well as on social and environmental parameters.



The job

You will support category managers in day-to-day business processes and tasks including preparation for key supplier meetings, market risk analysis, etc.. You will get responsibility for independent back-office tasks related to our processes and you will take part in improving our processes. You will also have a chance to participate in supplier meetings and negotiations as well as meetings with our internal stakeholders.



Qualifications

We are looking for an intern who is passionate about sourcing and supplier management. You are currently studying on your master’s degree in economics and business administration – e.g. supply chain management, international business or other relevant fields. General knowledge of supply chain and business relationships is preferred. We expect candidates to be analytical and highly skilled MS Excel users. Fluency in both oral and written English and excellent interpersonal skills are required.



You are an outgoing person with a strong personal drive and dedication. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to take initiative. In addition, you thrive in a busy environment and bring a can-do attitude and a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.



Practicalities

Requirement: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 6 months.

Start date: 01 March 2016
