As our new Housekeeping Manager, you will have a key position in the management team of the hotel. You will work very closely with the Front of House Manager, F&B Manager, and Executive Head Chef and report directly to the General Manager.
You will be responsible for a dedicated team of approximately 6-8 persons. With your department you are responsible for the cleanliness and general order of the hotels common areas and guest rooms. With 49 unique rooms and suits in different size and shape, attention to detail, strict routines, structure and training is needed to ensure exceptional guest experiences. In addition to keeping the hotel clean our housekeeping department does turn down service in all rooms every evening, making the beds, offer a little treat and setting the room in order for a good night’s sleep.
As Housekeeping Manager you will have to be very organized and independent. With a small team it is important to have open and good communication both with the front of house as well as your own team.
You need to be comfortable and appreciate flexible working hours and varied tasks, and enjoy working in a high tempo environment.
Most of the communication in the hotel is in English, but to know Norwegian is of course a plus.
The position is seasonal until October 15th.
Starting date no later than April 1st.
