Our client based in Dublin is seeking a Head of Operations. This is a leadership role requiring significant relevant expertise which will have responsibility for leading day to day operations within the organisation and dealing with external service providers.
€100000 - €120000 per annum
Key responsibilities:
- Ownership of all operational processes, maps and controls
- Development and implementation of a single outsourced operations governance model, including the development and monitoring of appropriate Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements.
- Responsible and accountable for operations people, processes and controls, including those that are outsourced to Third Party Administrators
- Responsible for the end to end process of Vendor selection and Vendor management
- Delivery and continuous improvement of high-quality services through outsourced operational partners
- Deliver and Drive ongoing process improvement
- Effectively manage risks and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Provide leadership and clear direction to managers and teams to ensure individuals are developed, retained and rewarded to enable high performance, engagement and delivery of business objectives
- Clearly, communicate the company strategy and direction to the operations team to achieve business objectives to meet the short and long term Company goals
- Promote innovation and creativity to ensure a culture of continuous improvement
- Management of all operational aspects of new product introduction, involving liaison with multiple cross-functional teams
- Maintain a strong operational risk control framework including operational risk identification, mitigation and reduction
- Implement and maintain efficient, effective and proportionate Business Continuity Management procedures and processes for all operations including outsourced activities and providers
Key Requirements:
- 10 - 15 years' experience with proven expertise in a senior operations role within the Financial Services Industry
- Experience of planning, controlling and monitoring operational activities in a multi-site, high volume regulated environments
- Proven track record of experience in implementing high levels of standardisation and process, to drive consistent, efficient and high-quality delivery
- Be able to anticipate, and be responsive to, operational challenges, in a highly changeable and fast paced environment
- Third level education along with professional qualifications
- Business transformation and project management leadership
- Strong People and Leadership Skills
