MovieStarPlanet needs a talented and experienced Graphic Artist to to help us expand our game worlds and online community.
MovieStarPlanet is one of the world’s most popular social games for tweens, available in 15 countries and 11 languages. BooniePlanet and RoboblastPlanet are our exciting new additions to our games portfolio which we hope will enjoy similar success!
Our visuals are a huge part of our identity and are cherished by millions of kids all over the world!
About the Job
You will be working as part of a tightly knit, cross discipline team developing new game features and enriching our game universes with fresh and imaginative content.
Responsibilities:
•Design and create exciting new illustrative content (e.g. characters, props, clothing, backgrounds)
•Create fun and endearing 2D animations (both character, props and particles)
•Assist in producing UI assets for new and improved game features
•Work with Marketing department to create promotional material
About You
You are an experienced, enthusiastic, creative and highly professional individual who thrives working within a small team to deliver truly rewarding user experiences.
Must haves:
•A passion for creating games
•Outstanding vector illustration skills
•Great 2D animation skills
•Well versed in Flash and Illustrator
•Ability to adapt your style to a given art direction
•Interest in creating fresh and imaginative content for the tween market
•Be comfortable working in a fast paced production environment
•A pragmatic, performance conscious approach to their graphics
•A great team player!
Desirable:
•2+ years of professional experience in the field of interactive creative media
•Education in an art & design related subject
•An understanding of pop culture and youth trends
•Experience creating graphics for mobile devices

MovieStarPlanet ApS is the company behind MovieStarPlanet.com, Boonieplanet.com and RoboBlastPlanet.com - games and social networks for tweens aged 8-15 years. In vitual worlds each user designs their own MovieStar avatar, Robot or Boonie, which can be used for creating small cartoon-like movies, chat, design looks, artbooks and clothes, and play games with other users.
Launched in Denmark in 2009, MovieStarPlanet ApS has since experienced explosive growth. Currently, the website is live in 11 European markets as well as the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Globally it ranks among the fastest growing virtual worlds for the target group with more than 200 million registered profiles.
