Beschreibung des Stellenangebots

Are you passionate about producing high-quality code that is easy to maintain and understand? If you are interested in Scala, Java EE, AngularJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Functional Programming or Reactive Programming, then seize the opportunity to make a difference for the soldiers in the field.

The job

As a developer, you will be an important part of the daily work of developing high-quality IT solutions for defence customers worldwide. Your tasks will primarily concern the development of new features and ongoing improvements of existing code and development environment. Here you will make a difference for the users, and you will make your mark on the delivered functionality in SitaWare Headquarters, which is our flagship within our products for the Danish Armed Forces.

You will be part of an agile and independent team with skilled colleagues where you will be responsible for a wide range of development-related tasks. We seek a variety of profiles, and you may get to work with development of back-end on a Java EE platform or web development with point of departure in the AngularJS framework depending on your preferences. If you have ambitions of becoming Scrum Master, you will get the opportunity to do so.

You should apply for this job if you:

  • Want to produce high-quality code that is easy to maintain and understand for others
  • Are passionate about products that are part of a larger suite which is used for mission-critical purposes
  • Like complex tasks in a large code base that covers a wide variety of different technologies
  • Want to be part of a highly skilled team of 30 developers where you get to learn something new every day
  • Are driven by the quality of your work and take pride in understanding complicated solutions and the challenges that the customer faces

Your skills and personality

You are probably a computer scientist or an engineer, preferably experienced with software development.

We imagine that you have experience with:

  • Development and maintenance of products
  • Scala or Java, preferably including WildFly or Java EE in general
  • AngularJS or general JavaScript development in a single-page web application

As a person, you thrive working closely together with your colleagues in an agile environment, and you are able to lead the way when the solution is to be defined and developed. You work analytically and in a structured manner and take pride in understanding and finding high-quality solutions to complex challenges. You are ambitious and have the will and ability to continuously improve and develop yourself and those around you.

Systematic offers

Our IT solutions make it simpler for the users to make critical decisions. In the defence and healthcare sectors, critical decisions often concern matters of life and death. In both the private and the public sector, our solutions must handle large amounts of data, e.g. in the library sector with more than 50 million yearly loans. To be able to continue the development of solutions that customers trust, we continuously challenge each other, our work processes and technologies. We have a highly pro-active education and training policy with defined career paths and internal pro-active Knowledge Networks.

We stay constantly focused on making everything better. Our unique combination of strong principles from CMMI and the best aspects of LEAN and Scrum enable us to develop reliable, high-quality solutions for our customers and to deliver them to the agreed price and deadline. We work in teams, and some of our teams include well-integrated insourced developers.

We prioritise a sensible balance between work and private life, and our agile approach provides you with an excellent opportunity of being able to plan your own tasks and working hours to a great extent. We value social cohesion at the workplace and have a very active staff association.

Because we also work with security classified projects, all Systematic personnel must have security clearance. Learn more at http://systematic.com/clearance.
