Are you an experienced all-round excavation worker and do you enjoy working on challenging projects? Then this position is perfect for you! We are looking for excavation workers for various projects at Shell refineries in the west of The Netherlands. Job Description As an excavation worker your duties will include all aspects of excavation work including, flagging, kerbing, edging, concreting and general digging out. You are able to work independently in accordance with safety regulations and general instructions. It mostly concerns projects in (petro)chemicals.

Job Requirements

• A valid Basic safety VCA certificate

• A valid VVL certificate (Secure Loading)

• A valid flange certificate WFPr (flange according protocol)

• The Personal Respiratory Protection Certificate (Onafhankelijke Adembescherming)

• Some experience with working in petrochemical environments or at refineries is welcome

• Good command of the Dutch or English language

• Having any additional diplomas, certificates or stamps in your PSL is to your advantage (like medical check, HSE-training, H2S-training, safetytraining, poortinstruction) (Should you not have the certificates valid and required in the Netherlands, we can agree on a way to arrange certification.)

Personal Qualities

• You are enthusiastic, reliable, representative and have good communication skills;

• You are flexible and have a positive outlook;

• You are prepared to take courses and follow training related to this field of work;

• You have a driver’s licence B and your own means of transport.
