European Distribution Project Director
Do you have experiences in managing a European distribution network project with multiple factories, distributions centers and sales companies servicing several thousand customers? Are you comfortable with complex projects? Are you analytic and execution oriented? Are you experienced with cross organizational projects and stakeholder management? Then you could be our new Project Director in Danfoss Global Services Logistics. You are offered a unique position where you will head Danfoss’ European distribution network project and hereby also have the opportunity to impact further global development of our logistics setup. New distribution center footprint in the European region Reporting to the Vice President Global Services Logistics, your mission is to optimize Danfoss’ logistics setup across our 4 business segments from factories and distribution centers to customers in Europe. The objective is to secure we have the required capacity in our distribution centers to support Danfoss growth agenda for the years to come. This to be done in a new set-up for Danfoss European distribution centers where delivery service to customers will set new standards within our industry while reducing cost to serve. The project will among others involve sales companies, factories, distribution centers, ware-houses and freight forwarders in the European region as well as stakeholders in overseas destinations served from the European region. To secure the success of the project, you will be part of a cross organizational project team with external support. Experienced project manager You are an experienced project manager within similar distribution network optimization projects, holding a relevant BSc or MSc in Supply Chain Management or similar. You have a solid track record from previous positions. You possess the drive and the communication skills to lead and create results and are characterized by an analytical approach, “hands on”, a global holistic mindset and are execution oriented. You excel in maintaining strong relationships on every level and have profound English skills. Last but not least, you thrive in a role motivating and guiding others to be up to speed and perform at their best. Your most prominent job is to ensure stakeholder alignment and as such you will have a unique opportunity to build a international network within Danfoss. The position will preferable be located in Rødekro, Denmark and travelling must be expected securing success of the project.
